Hi, I'm Christian Paneda (he/him)

I’m a product designer and graduate student at the University of Michigan studying Human-Computer Interaction. Before design, I was a researcher at UCLA exploring mobile and web apps to improve health outcomes for minoritized communities by leveraging machine learning and social networks. I have a passion for turning data into decisions.

Why I design

I’m an advocate for people. From empowering small businesses to uplifting the LGBTQ+ community, I want to create a more empathetic and whimsical world through technology.

What I'm up to

I’m a designer and developer for a website to educate LGBTQ+ communities about content moderation on social media. I’m very passionate about accessibility; I am a teaching assistant for SI 539: a graduate-level class about responsive and accessible web design.
